Digging & Diving Into the Past Join us as we celebrate Georgia Archaeology Month and kick off our Summer Reading Program! Headquarters Library is the largest of the six branches in the Clayton County Library System. Headquarters Branch offers many activities for people of all ages, including Baby Talk, a weekly program for infants and toddlers up to 20 months of age, and weekly story times for preschool children. Please check our Calendar of Events for details.
Headquarters library offers numerous public computer workstations, research assistance at the Information Desk, a large number of study tables and comfortable seating areas, and two meeting rooms that are available for booking by the public (please call for details). The Friends of the Library holds their monthly meetings at the Headquarters library.
Architecture:
The design of the Clayton County Headquarters Library won the American Institute of Architects/American Library Association Library Buildings Award in 1991 and a national Honor Award from the American Institute of Architects in 1989.
