Public Transportation - CTran, Route 501 (Clayton Transit) stops in front of the Human Resources Complex across the street from the library once an hour during weekdays. • Library Facts

Headquarters Library is the largest of the 6 branches in the Clayton County Library System. Headquarters Branch sponsors many activities for people of all ages, including Baby Talk, a weekly program for infants and toddlers up to 20 months of age, and weekly story times for preschool children. Please check our Events Calendar for details.

Currently, there are over twenty public workstations with internet access and MS Office applications. Assistance with the computers and research advice is provided at the Information Desk. Just beyond the Info Desk is a small Genealogy Room.

The branch is home to the Library System's administrative staff and includes a conference room where the Friends of the Library hold their monthly meeting. The Conference Room is available for booking.

• Architecture

The design of the Clayton County Headquarters Library won the American Institute of Architects/American Library Association Library Buildings Award in 1991 and a national Honor Award from the American Institute of Architects in 1989.
