6:30 PM - 8:00 PM Get Ready To Read! - Parent/Early Childhood Educator Workshop
Don't miss this free workshop which will share things parents, early childhood educators, child care providers and adult family members can do to help preschool children get ready to read and write through everyday activities. "Help the children you care about get ready to read. Get going on the road to reading with these free child friendly activites." This workshop will be presented by Charmaine Godley, Director, Get Ready To Read! Southeast Regional Center (www,getreadytoread.org) and is co-sponsored by Clayton County Public Schools Pre-Kindergarten Program.
This program is sponsored by SMART START, a United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta program.
Recommended for parents, educators, and child care providers of children ages 3-5. During the workshop, literacy and craft activites will be provided in another area of the library for children ages 3-8. Please register in advance by visiting, telephoning, or emailing the library.
