Everything is HALF OFF the original price.
Replenish classroom shelves. Lots of affordable holiday gifts! Books and more for infants through adults.
Come early. Reorders are limited to additional copies, IF AVAILABLE, of books sent with the opening day book fair.
Based on a percentage of sales, the library earns paperback books to use as rewards for each child or teen who reads 18 books during the 2010 Summer Reading Program.
We accept checks, cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards, Debit cards with charge card logos (all purchases go through as charges), and purchase orders.

The Art of Storytelling
Would your child like to learn to be a storyteller? Professional storyteller, Verna Muthoni, "Sensamaya," will teach youth how to tell stories. The group will meet the 2nd Saturday of each month. Children must be in 4th grade or above and reading on at least 4th grade level. There will be performances for friends and family later in the year.
Basic French Classes for Children
This class taught by Ms. Anne-Marie will include learning colors, days of the week, counting, greetings, basic vocabulary and more. Parents, please be advised that in order for your child to benefit from this class they plan on attending every Saturday. Pencils, paper and a notebook is required for each class Recommended for children ages 8-12 ONLY.
1:00 PM-1:45 PM Cuentos y Libros/Stories & Books
Each Saturday, stories will be read in both English and in Spanish. Talented bilingual volunteers will read stories in Spanish and library staff will read in English. The program will end with a craft. For the whole family.
Participarán estudiantes talentosas, que leerán en ambos idiomas (español e inglés). Después de la activad de lectura, los participantes harán una actividad manual. Estas actividades son gratis para toda la familia. Esta es una gran oportunidad de aprender inglés para unos y español para otros. Pueden participar desde los niños hasta los abuelos de su familia.
2:00 PM-3:30 PM Make-It-Take-It Kids' Crafts
At the Lovejoy Library, we will be hosting a monthly craft program in our meeting room called Make-It-Take-It Kids' Crafts. Children age 4 years and up are invited to the library to work on simple, seasonal crafts. This month we will be working on crafts to celebrate Valentine's Day. Please register in advance.
