| Description | Free tutoring series for elementary, middle, and high school students. Offered by the volunteers from the B.A.S.I.C. Empowerment Corporation, a non-profit organization. This organization strives to meet the academic needs of the students in our community. There will be tutoring, homework assistance, and academic enrichment exercises. Registration is for the whole series and is based on a first-come, first-serve basis. A parent MUST complete a parental permission form and a registration form either prior to participation or on the first day of participation.
This series is planned to last at least through the 2009 --2010 school year. Only 20 students may participate and once that many have registered, a waiting list will be taken. The Clayton County Library System is providing space for this program as a public service. All questions about this series must be communicated directly to B.A.S.I.C. Empowerment Corporation via email or by phone. |
