For Kids: Dig Into Reading!

For Kids Age 0-11
May 24 - August 10, 2012

Read 18 books or read for 12 hours to earn a free book!

Research has shown that reading over the summer break helps prevent students from losing ground and helps prepare them for the next school year - stop the "summer slide" by participating in the library's Summer Reading Program!

Participate in this free program encouraging young people to read and listen to books for fun. Pick up a reading log at the public library to keep track of your reading. Visit the library weekly to select a fun incentive. Reading may be done anywhere: home, school, vacation, etc.

All programs, materials, and incentives are FREE!

The Summer Reading Program and weekly incentives officially end on August 10. However, you may still register, and/or bring reading folders back to the library through August 31. You will receive a free book once you've read either 18 books, or have read for 12 hours during the summer.
