Do you have zoo or park passes I can check out?

Answer:

Yes! Each Clayton County Library System branch has passes for Zoo Atlanta, Go Fish Education Center, State Parks, State Historic Sites, and the Center for Puppetry Arts that can be checked out with a valid Clayton County-issued library card.

 

Zoo Passes

Zoo passes are only available once per year, per household. See the attached document for additional details and instructions. For availability, please contact your local branch.

Center for Puppetry Arts Passes

The Center for Puppetry Arts pass provides free admission for 4 people.

It can be checked out for 7 days. If you do not return the pass on time, there is a late fee of $3.00 per day.  If you lose the pass, there is a $50 replacement fee.

Go Fish Education Center Passes

The 'Go Fish' pass can be checked out for 7 days and can be renewed once. It is good for free admission to the Go Fish Education Center in Perry, Georgia for up to 6 visitors. The education center provides inforomation about fish, other aquatic wildlife, and fish habitats in Georgia. The education center is open to the public on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, but visitors are advised to call or check the website (http://www.gofisheducationcenter.com) to verify opening hours before visiting.

Please note: This is NOT a fishing permit, this is only a pass to get into the educational center.

If you do not return the pass on time, there is a late fee of $3.00 per day.  If you lose the pass, there is a $50 replacement fee.

Due to restrictions set by the educational center, the library can only offer one pass per library location.

State Parks Passes

The State Parks pass is a parking pass that exempts you from paying the daily parking fee for one vehicle at most of the State Parks throughout Georgia. You may check it out for 7 days at a time and it can be renewed once. See georgiastateparks.org for a list of state parks. For availability, please contact your local branch.

Restrictions - it is not valid at State Historic Sites (see the Historic Sites Pass info below), the Chattahoochee River NRA, Jekyll Island, Lake Lanier Island, or Stone Mountain Park.

If you do not return the pass on time, there is a $3 per day late fee. If you lose the pass, there is a $50 replacement fee.

State Historic Sites Passes

The State Historic Sites pass is a pass that allows admission for up to 4 visitors to a number of historic sites throughout Georgia.You may check it out for 7 days at a time and it can be renewed once. See georgiastateparks.org for a list of state historic sites. For availability, please contact your local branch.

If you do not return the pass on time, there is a $3 per day late fee. If you lose the pass, there is a $35 replacement fee.
