Will you contact me if I have a book overdue?
The Clayton County Library System will not contact you directly if you have an overdue item. However, if you include your email address in your profile (you can either add it through the "My Account" screen in the PINES catalog system or ask us to add it for you), you will receive an automatic email reminder from the PINES system when you have an item about to be due, and when you have an item overdue.
If you have an item overdue by 10 days, you will receive another automatic email from the PINES system. If you have not provided us with your email address, the PINES system will leave you an automated phone message at the daytime phone number in your account profile.
If you have an item overdue by 30 days, PINES will send an overdue letter to your mailing address.
