What word processing programs are on the library's computers?


The library computers have Microsoft Office installed. We are in the process of upgrading from version 2007 to version 2010.

If you have created a document on a non-library computer using AbiWord, Open Office, or some other program, be sure to save your document in a format that Word can open if you want to edit and/or print it from the library. By default, AbiWord saves in the .abw format and Open Office saves in the .odf format, but the library's computers cannot open these formats. If using one of these programs, it is best to select either the .rtf (Rich Text Format) or .doc (Microsoft Word) format.
