About Clayton Readmore

Clayton Readmore was first chosen as a mascot of the Clayton County Library System's Youth Services Department the early 1990's but Clayton has been missing around here for some time. In his previous incarnation, Clayton was a bookworm.

With the re-design of our kids page in 2008, we decided to re-introduce Clayton but felt he needed a makeover. Al Waller, a talented, local animator, writer, illustrator and puppeteer generously agreed to help.
