Youth Services coordinates programs, activities and services in the following areas:

- Suggested internet sites for youth such as Yahooligans.
- Children's and Young Adult (Teen) sections are at each of our six libraries. Each library also has a special reference collection geared toward youth.
- Fun and educational programs for youth scheduled throughout the year. Please see our Events Calendar for details on specific programs. There are a number of ongoing programs such as Baby Talk! and our Chess Club for Youth.
- Educational software and games available to play on Children's terminals in each of our branches.
- Vacation Reading and Story Times.
- Access to over 150 subscription databases, including Kids GALILEO, Primary/Elementary Grade Searchasuarus and Searchasuarus For Middle Grades

For younger children we have a wide selection of cardboard books, picture books, beginning readers, easy chapter books, and some audio tape materials for read along/aloud, a well as general fiction and nonfiction materials.
