Academic Search Complete Includes more than more than 5,300 full-text journals and magazines on a wide variety of topics. A useful starting point for most subjects.
Encyclopaedia Britannica - The fulltext of the classic encyclopedia with multimedia videos and well written articles geared for students of all ages.
History Reference Center - A good source for historical topics for all ages but especially students. Includes full-text encyclopedia and journal articles, primary documents, images and even video.
Kids Search - Designed especially for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Research Library at ProQuest - Articles from popular magazines and academic journals.
SIRS Discoverer with WebFind - Articles for elementary and middle school students. Includes country information, history and culture.

Due to the sheer number of web sites referencing the seven wonders, the resources listed below are those that contain significantly relevant information and unique features that may aid research or be of interest.
THE MONUMENTS
Howard Hillman Seven Wonders of the World - Traveler Howard Hillman’s perspective of the monuments as a visitor to the sites. Along with factoids on each monument, Hillman presents a list of “flaws” in the canon itself.
Internet Public Library – Seven Wonders of the World - A page from IPL’s Frequently Asked Reference Questions features several seven wonders lists with links to other seven wonders sites.
Seven Wonders of the Ancient World - Created in 1995, this site contains information including the history of the canon, information on each monument, references, related links, a geographic map and FAQs.
NOVA Online – Seven Wonders: Get Clued In - A subsection of Nova (PBS series) episode “Treasures on the Sunken City.” Features a quiz on naming the monuments using Science, Geography and History clues.
The Unmuseum – Seven Wonders of the Ancient World - A “Time Traveller Tour” of the monuments. Artist renderings can be seen in 3D with special glasses.
Wikipedia – Seven Wonders of the World - Although not a definitive source , Wikipedia, a collaborative encyclopedia provides a useful introduction to many topics. We suggest using it with caution and items listed as fact should be verified in other reputable sources. The Wikipedia entry includes the new Seven Wonders of the world lists compiled by USA Today and ABC’s Good Morning America in November 2006 and the New Open World Corporation in July 2007.
