Borrowing Materials

Need a library card? It's as easy as 1 - 2 - 3!

1. Access the application online and fill out the required fields.
2. Click "Print Form"
3. Bring it into any of our branches. Make sure you bring a valid ID.

The check out period for all circulating non-reference materials is as follows:

Art Prints *	3 Months
Audio Books (CD and cassette)	14 Days
Best Sellers & New Books*	14 Days
Other Circulating Books	14 Days
PINES Intralibrary Loan	14 Days
InterLibrary Loan (Outside of PINES)	Variable
Videos	14 Days
* Indicates These Items May Not Be Renewed

You may renew your book online from your home computer, by calling any of our six library locations or in person during business hours.

Books may be requested from any other PINES library at no charge. Materials will be delivered to your local library for pick up and may also be returned at any PINES library throughout the state.

Please note that you will be required to present a PINES library card to check out books, regardless of your home library. This policy is in place to protect patrons from erroneous check outs.

Daily fines for over due materials are as follows:  

Most Materials (including books owned by CCLS)	10 cents
Interlibrary Loan material (non PINES)	25 cents
Videos	50 cents
Videos (Long)	10 cents

Please note that fines accrue daily. Account balances may be checked online but must be paid at one of our branch locations.
