Looking For The Right Job?

Georgia Work Ready assessment and skills gap training is now available for free on public computers at all six Clayton County public libraries. Work ready is also available anywhere you have Internet access after setting up an account through our libraries.

Work Ready is a statewide program which certifies the skills of workers and matches them to employers. Work Ready is based on a skills assessment and certification for job seekers and a job profiling system for businesses.

To obtain a Work Ready Certificate, job seekers must reach a minimum level of 3 in the applied mathematics, locating information and reading for information individual assessments. To improve assessment scores, online gap training is available at no cost. Once gap training is completed, individuals can retake the assessment up to three times at no charge.

Work Ready is based on a skills assessment and certification for job seekers and a job profiling system for businesses. This workforce development initiative assesses the “real world” skills of workers, provides job training and helps companies reliably match the right people with the right jobs.
