Tutoring will be provided by The Literacy for Youth Foundation, a non-profit organization. Educators and college interns will tutor students in reading and math. Advance registration and parental permission forms required.  

Also on Saturdays, 9:15-11:45 a.m. by appointment only.

Free tutoring available for reading for grades 6 - 12.  Tutoring is both group and individualized instruction with experienced tutors.  The major problem areas will be covered that students encounter in reading that will aid them in passing their class exams and prepare them for standardize tests.

Call New Generation Academy at 678-429-4204. Due to space limitations, each session will be limited to 15 students.

These sessions will be ongoing on Mondays & Wednesdays, 4-6 p.m. ( by appointment only at Headquarters Library)throughout the school year but will NOT meet any day that Clayton County Public Schools are not in session.

This tutoring will prepare students for important Georgia standardized tests such as the CRCT, End-of-Course Test (EOTC), and Georgia High School Graduation Test (GHSGT)

Space is very limited, parents must meet with Sylvan representatives in advance to complete paperwork. Students & their parents MUST commit to ongoing weekly tutoring; this is NOT drop-in tutoring or homework assistance. Students accepted into this tutoring series are required to meet wo hours weekly with their Sylvan tutors. Sylvan & parents will schedule tutoring appointments.  A light snack will be served..
