Are you looking for something to do this summer that will benefit you and your community?

Become a Library Youth Volunteer!

Volunteers Needed

The Clayton County Library System is recruiting teens, ages 12-18 to help with the upcoming Summer Reading Program and other library activities.

Library Youth Volunteers help our libraries in many ways:
  •  Assisting with running the Summer Reading Program table by signing kids up and handing out incentive prizes.
  • Help keep our collections and library in order.
  • Shelving books.
  • Assisting at many library programs and events for children.
  • Preparing arts & crafts for upcoming storytimes and programs.
  • Inputting content on our TCC webpage.
  • And much more!

If you are interested in becoming a Library Youth Volunteer, then print out an application, complete it, then bring it to the library at which you are interested in volunteering.  A library staff person will contact you regarding the status of your application.

To download a copy of the Youth Volunteer application, click here: www.claytonpl.org/teens/future/YouthVolunteerApplication.pdf
